21st March 1978 (cant find this date on any website!!)
My mate Derek from work 21st birthday, he had the privilege to
sleep on my bedroom floor! The Art Centre Basildon (photo) had
been their lots of times as a kid to see films and pantomimes,
also have a vague memory of seeing some local Bands in the
upstairs Bar
This night was to see the Alberto’s a mad punk/comedy band,
support I seem to remember was from a Punk Poet, who took a
bit of heckling from the crowd, The Alberto’s were just total
mayhem on stage great musicians I seem to recall, a good night
was had by all.
