Double Six Whitmore Way Basildon 1975/76/77/78/79/80’s Saw Jackie and the lads loads of times not only at the Six but we use to follow him round London also saw him at The Bridge House, The Three Rabbits, Bald Face Stag, The Golden Lion, The Kings Head Fulham. I can remember one night at the Double Six it was 11th June 78 how did I remember that well the main Bar was less then full, unusual for a Jackie gig but there was Scotland v Holland game going on in the Public Bar, Troop;s TV on a couple of tables! the place was packed Scotland won 3-2 but still went out, Then Jackie got his crowd back!
